multi step forms - is this a thing?

i need to build a pretty long onboarding form (like 25 fields) and putting everything on one page is overwhelming. has anyone built multi-step forms where you go page by page? also wondering if theres a progress bar or something so people know how far along they are. our completion rate on long forms is terrible and i think its because people see 25 fields and just close the tab

yes multi-step is supported. you add page breaks between sections and the form renders as a multi-page wizard with next/back buttons. theres a progress indicator at the top showing which step theyre on

we saw a 35% increase in completion rate after switching our long form from single page to multi-step. breaking it into 4 pages of 5-6 fields each made a huge difference
